Sun+Earth certification is reserved for regenerative farming practices, which means using natural soil amendments, utilizing companion plants, and introducing predatory insects for pest control.

Our standards mean farmers are building soil quality through mulching, crop rotation, reduced tillage, reducing weed pressure with mulch, conserving soil moisture, enhance habitat for beneficial soil flora and fauna, increase organic matter while also practicing companion planting, and boosting soil fertility with the use of cover crops, compost, compost teas, and homemade plant ferments derived form local resources.

Sun+Earth certification standards aim to address the rights of farm workers. All workers receive fair compensation that supports a fulfilling lifestyle.
